I completed my first year of high school and even worked as an intern at the São Bernardo do Campo City Hall, but I ended up going astray and was arrested. During my time in prison, I came across so many sad stories of fellow inmates cutting and killing themselves. These were years of suffering and much learning.
I learned about the cooperative created inside the prison by Humanitas360 through Flávia Maria. Thanks to the cooperative, I began to grow, striving to be someone in life and show society that, regardless of where we end up, there's someone out there with open arms to give us the strength to move forward. Now free, I'm very grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the Tereza brand.
At 15, I met the only love of my life, got pregnant, and became a mother at 16. A year later, I was widowed, with a baby to raise and a "criminal inheritance," as I began managing my great love's "business." In the following years, I suffered and made my family suffer. A love story with a cursed inheritance. But I matured greatly in prison and transformed myself.
The opportunity to join the cooperative created by Humanitas360 at the Tremembé II Women's Penitentiary came when I was forgotten by everyone. The project changed my thinking. Now free, I'm reintegrating into society, away from crime. I'm studying Law at UNICID with a 50% scholarship thanks to my good score on the ENEM (National High School Exam). I'm a warrior woman who, thanks to the Tereza brand, has made the best of the worst.
